AI systems for professional services firms

Systems for firms that bill their time.

Law firms, accounting and advisory firms, consultancies and agencies. The work that does not bill, done by a system: intake, documents, follow-ups, billing and reporting.

The work we take

What a system does for a professional services firm.

  • Intake, conflict checks and engagement letters
  • Document collection, filing and records requests
  • Client follow-ups and status updates
  • Time capture, billing and collections
  • Matter and client reporting for partners

We build and run the systems, including the website or client app when it is part of the system. We do not run your marketing or social media.

A typical first system

Two weeks to a number.

A matter intake workflow: the enquiry arrives, the conflict check runs, the engagement letter goes out for signature, the client folder is created and the first records requests are drafted, all before a person has to think about it. Two weeks, measured in hours returned to fee earners.

Our first professional services engagement, a six-person injury firm in the US, began with a case file companion that sits beside the firm's case management system and keeps every matter's documents, deadlines and next steps in one view.

Questions from professional services.

Do you replace our practice management system?

No. We build around it. Most firms keep their case or practice management software and we take the work that happens between it and the inbox.

What about privilege and confidentiality?

Everything runs in accounts the firm owns, under a data processing agreement, with access limited to the people you name. We never train general AI models on your data.

Can you handle US, UK and EU firms?

Yes. We work across both sets of hours and the agreements cover GDPR, UK GDPR and US state requirements.
